not having to date.

Man, I don't get this line of thinking. I can see how being single can get old and I can see the desire for a partner after a long time.. but the dating scene was always fun to me. Hell, I will purposely sit near people who look like they're on a first date when I go get a drink by myself just so I can live vicariously. "How many siblings do you have?", "What did you go to school for?".. I eat that shite up.

well shite I guess it was. Arent you supposed to be a good looking female? I'd imagine dating for them is always a hoot.

To clarify, I enjoy not having to do the small talk shite and other BS that goes along with the early phases of dating.

to each his own. I'm past all that horse shite. I can go to dinner with the wife and never have to say a word and its not awkward or uncomfortable. We know whats expected of each other, we know what we are thinking. Not saying your idea of fun is wrong, I just prefer the familiarity of interacting with someone I already know.

Like I said earlier - I would choose my relationship (6 years) 10/10 over the shiny new fun thing. But if we broke up tomorrow, I wouldn't be anywhere near interested in another one for a long time. Too much fun to be had in the world of casual dating.

I'd probably do like SS mentioned earlier and enjoy the honeymoon phase over and over with new people - leaving each time it fades.

That kinda makes me sound shitty. Oh well. I'd be up front about it!

no problem. shite goes both ways.

I just wish whoever is railing her would cut the grass occasionally.

I change my mind.

The best part bout being married is I'm not out dating in today's world where so many fricking women are making up accusations of rape based on bullshite. If I were single today, I wouldn't have sex with a woman unless I had a signed consent form and the whole thing was on video.

That shite is fake news. Just don't date liberals and you'll be fine.

Between the daddy thing and this post, I can surmise that you're probably over 50.

I did this when I became single again, it's more work than having a relationship. I lasted about a year.
