They served and protected him for sure
BTW... one more snippet from the story....
quote:
Thursday afternoon, Edmonson said he's not aware of any warrant that had been issued for the arrest of Chris Few.
The Clerk of Court for the City of Marksville said they had "nothing" on Few, and the Avoyelles Parish District Attorney's Office said they had no pending warrants on Few, and that they had "never" had any warrants out on him. The Avoyelles Coroner said the Marshals were trying to serve warrants on Few when they started the pursuit that ended in the death of a child. We also called the Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office and six agencies in Mississppi where Few may have lived who also said they had no warrants for him.
So much for the whole "trying to serve a warrant" lie.

PURE SPECULATION:
This guy had a couple of beers while playing pool and then went to pick up his son. He sees the flashing lights and panics because of any, or all, of the below listed reasons:
- he's in violation of his probation from the first DUI
- a 2nd DUI fricks up his Coast Guard licensing
- a DUI with the kid in the car violates the terms of his custodial agreement.
The key part is in bold. The only people who have any reason to have speculation thrown at them is the 4 "officers." They've already been caught in several lies and are refusing to talk to LSP.

That poor kid. Every adult involved in this situation is culpable and should spend time in prison. Inexcusable.

My only premise in this whole thread is to wait for facts. I never claimed to know what happened or who did what. Sorry you're such a gaping vagina that it bothers you so much that you make the second call out of me on this. Perhaps if you stopped putting words in my mouth, you might actually get what I say instead of just trying to make a point.

How am I crawfishing again? I'm not sure you understand what that means.

You've defended the indefensible for 30 pages. You've taken the cops side blindly and totally. And you've attacked and ridiculed anyone who said they held even the slightest responsibility for killing this child.

These poor cops. Good boys who dindu nuffin.

No I haven't. I was not jumping to conclusions without facts. Stop putting words in my mouth.

Nope. I'm waiting for facts.

That's LnchBox in every cop thread
But.. But .. I was just defending them until the facts come out. I only defend them until the facts come out.

Have you crashed without a helmet? You really aren't capable of understanding we should wait for all facts to come out before stringing people up?

You can't be serious. Several cop threads where facts were already presented I've said cops fricked up. You have a very selective memory if that's all you remember of me in threads like these.

Of course. But don't act like "facts" persuaded you and Lunchbox to admonish the father and defend the police for most of this thread.
At least you realized a few pages ago that the cops were probably in the wrong and accepted it.

Where did I ever say they did nothing wrong?

I feel like we've had this back and forth quite a few times in cop threads too.
I just saw that cops need to be held more accountable. The other day a cop comes in here and gives this woe is my friend story, about a fellow cop who killed himself and his family in a murder suicide. Blamed it on the stress of the job. NO, that is a mental issue. Maybe if we better screened the police and were tougher on them, mental cases like that wouldn't be given a badge and a gun. We have to realize that the police are not always right. That is what I take from these threads. It is like some one here only defend the police, no matter what. 95% of all the police are great cops. I know this, but that 95% covers for the 5% all the time. We get on the black youth for the "stop snitching" movement but the thin blue line is the same thing.
Guy in Mandeville almost lost everything last year because a cop and a public servant lied just to get him charges, that stuff happens more than we like to admit, yet it isn't always on camera.
Look at the story in the OP, had the new info not come out, we would have went on blaming the dad for all that happened.
It's not about being anti-cop or wanting anarchy, it's about accountability. If we are going to give select people power above us and the right to get around the law we must follow, then we need to damn well make sure these people are deserving of that right.

If we have, it's been early on in a case where the facts hadn't come out.

And I would never argue against that.

And I certainly agree with this. I'm sure Darth will try to say this is me crawfishing, but I've never said anything that doesn't agree with these statements.

Well good, I must of had you confused with that other guy LUNCHBX.

LOL damn you're obviously a cop but there's already evidence that the cops were lying yet you're still knighting for them.
I seriously doubt you put so much effort into giving suspects out in the street the benefit of doubt.
You're one of the bad cops. There's some on this board that have done a 180 on this, and a big kudos to the state police for investigating and bring transparent about their findings.

I'm still going with selective memory and sensationalizing based on my reputation
