I know a lot of the Xmas purists will shite on this thread but I’ll admit that the fake ones if done right can look and even smell like the real thing with all of the joy and blah blah blah that a real one does.

That aside… I’m not opposed to a real tree but have had a nicer fake one for years and years and finally tossed it last year and put off getting a new one (like you do)

Do we one:
Buy a niceier fake tree at the pre Christmas ridiculous prices (Balsam has some going as high as $7k for Christs sake) and be done for another bunch of christmases?

Or two:
Grab a $150-$200 real tree this year and wait to shop for the fake ones early as shite next year?

Bought a 7 ft tree from Balsam Hill before last Christmas and love it. Has the option for multicolor, white lights or both. Can't say enough how realistic they look and the feel of them

You seem like an arse. Buy this and be done with it then. This suits the style you seem to be looking for

You’re the dummy and misread the post and told us that you bought a nice tree from Balsam instead of weighing in on my overall question.

Glad you like your tree I guess? Which was the point of this thread after all?

C: Go pick out the perfect one the old fashioned way. It's about the experience.

We paid 350 for a 7.5' pre lit BH before Christmas 2 years ago. It's easy as shite to put up and looks great. I guess it would depend on what the prices drop to after Christmas to see if its worth it. Personally id just get the artificial one now and be done with it instead of trying to shop around after the holidays.

We always get a real tree the day after thanksgiving. That’s been our tradition for almost 10 years. And it makes a good bonfire starter on January 6th

This thread is extremely trashy, it isn’t even the week of thanksgiving yet

Maybe I’m just soft now but real trees get me sick every year. Can’t even have fresh flowers in a vase. We are buying an artificial one this month.

Following because the wife finally caved last night and said she wanted to move to an artificial tree. We've never had one so will be in the market soon.

My parents have been married for almost 50 years. They’re on their second Christmas tree.

Heck, they’d probably still have the original had I not snapped the top of it in half accidentally when I was in middle school.
