Word is that the navy no longer sends squid to the IOC because their failure rates were too high. A lot of female Marines are pretty sharp and physically way better than most females that you will ever see, but IOC is another story.

It's happening. There's no use crying over it. I don't like it either.
But.... A lot of women aren't going to sign up for the infantry in the long run. I would guess maybe 1%. It's not going to be a huge deal.

Actually it is a big deal. Lots of officers and NCOs will lose their jobs due to false sexual harassment complaints and fraternization with females. We already lose good officers and NCOs in support units because of this. When POG soldiers tell you they serve with females and it's not an issue they don't even realize what they're saying. They say the problems every day and don't even realize that what they're seeing is wrong. They don't understand how much more efficient and capable without women in even their support echelon ranks. They've just never seen what right looks like. It's not their fault they're ignorant, but they are ignorant nonetheless. These problems will only be multiplied exponentially in a line unit. It's a HUGE deal and people will die because of it and our military will be less efficient, disciplined and deadly because of it.
The reason you don't think it's a big deal is because you won't have to deal with it. You won't have to lead a mixed gender unit full of kids trying to sleep with each other and all the drama that comes along with that. It's your blind selfishness that says this isn't a big deal. And your ignorance.

Buddy- you have no idea what the frick you are talking about. I have lead an infantry platoon in combat. Ive seen things you can't even imagine.
I've dealt with females as I've risen through the ranks. If someone is professional enough to make it through the training and is lead by a good leader, it won't matter. You are a pussy who is threatened. Grow up bitch.

I would imagine, with your logic you're spewing right now, your platoons were not combat effective at all.
Also, how many of those females were in combat? I'm telling you, from my experience just in TRAINING with females that they were the least effective people in the entire company.
The worst male marine in my company was better than the best female. I would imagine you don't know a goddamned thing about what you're talking about. And have been indoctrinated into your dumbass views on this topic because you are an officer and aren't there with the enlisted personnel who carry out your orders all the time.
Just because a female may be professional doesn't negate the fact that physically, they are weaker and don't handle pressure as well as males.
