You're taking this as a political issue instead of a national security issue. Politics don't belong in this.

I've participated in years of training exercises with them in the field while they're menstruating. It's a terrible smell and they can't participate because they feel sluggish. That's the truth and doesn't make the newspaper. I've watched them drop out of numerous hikes. I've literally had them grab a hold of the back of my pack and pulled them because they were so exhausted. Try it first and your view will change.

On the other hand I've seen some of the smartest Marines that were females. They were also very good at the 3-mile run.

They still have to pass the School Of Infantry which is no joke.

The Progressive Leftist US Democrat Party is perfectly willing to accept some casualties for the sake of the advancement of their agenda. In fact, they are perfectly content to take LOTS of casualties, if that purpose is served.

We've conversed about this issue before. Other people's dead bodies are of no concern to them.

Hopefully now that we have progressed into modern times we will bring back conscription. Every man AND woman must serve at least 4 years once they turn 18. No exceptions, not even medical exceptions (to have medical exceptions would be discriminatory towards handicapped persons).

Which I would have no problem with if the standards weren't modified to become "gender neutral".

But therein lies the problem- this decision was not based on improving performance, it was to accommodate "gender inequality". If the standards stay the same and no women get into an infantry platoon, then what's the point of integration? No, the point of this was to make a political statement, at the cost of performance.

The USMC did a whole study on it, showing that in a whole, gender mixed platoons were injured more often, were slower in the field, and performed worse than all male platoons.

If I had to guess, Mabus's copy is in his fireplace ashes at the moment. Like I said, I pity the officers responsible for the future dead because of piss poor decisions made by civilian leadership.
