I smoke 4-5 times a week. But stay at home and enjoy putting on the headphones and jamming to the music I grew up with. DAMN those songs sound so good these days.and with all the pain I go through..... no pain with Mary Jane!!!!!!!!!!

Ah that probably explains it. I do like the fact I don’t get sleepy after smoking like I used to, and I get less munchies too. But the mellowness is also gone, like you described.

I don't know what kind of selection you have access to but try a few different strains. I mostly smoke indica because it mellows me out more.

I don't have a problem with it. I've never been a druggie just because I was raised to not associate with it. The biggest thing that keeps me straight is having to buy it from some dealer or shady dude I don't know. Maybe it's worth it to end up in some dumb arse drug bust, but not to me. Very few people I know talk about weed ever. I suspect some smoke but they wouldn't say anything around me because I give off a narc vibe or something.

If it was legal, I would probably try the edibles since I don't care to smoke anything ever.

Pretty funny that a spammer bumps this thread to drop his shitty affiliate link and it actually kicks the thread off again with real discussion.

Most dispensaries have weed with a decent CBD profile if you ask for it.

It’s been proven over and over that it isn’t addictive through unbiased, scientific measures.

Youre citing a source that profits greatly from “treating” the addiction.......

Addictive personality traits will gravitate to whatever medium is available and alcohol leads that charge.

It can be addictive. You can experience withdrawal symptoms when you withdraw from it (typically increased anxiety and sleep disturbance), especially if you're dabbing on the regular (with the THC level). That is actually true. I think anybody who has smoked consistently for awhile and tried to quit or tapered off from higher levels of THC can probably agree.

What homeboy fails to mention is that it's extremely easy to quit and the withdrawal symptoms are minor compared to any other substance used to become intoxicated. You're not going to die of an overdose if you hop back in at the level you were using. And we haven't seen enough legitimate studies at this point to determine that high THC levels are responsible for psychosis, only that they may trigger existing psychosis.

TBH I’m a very low information smoker. when I was young my choice was either KB or ditch weed, and I’d buy Whichever I could afford at the time. Then life happened and I quit smoking.

20 years later, I have even less choice. I buy whatever my buddy has available. He tries to tell me about it, about the strains and the differences, but I don’t try to keep up.

I'd probably smoke occasionally if I could but it's not worth my job. I don't have any toddlers.
Same here. I'm 53 with a great job of 21 years service. No way I would jeopardize it to get high but when I retire at 62 it's on my retirement menu for sure.

Still illegal on the federal level.

I'm not giving up my RKBA because of weed. No thanks.
