Destroy the nation's economy to save the .01% that will die from a cold, seems like the most efficient way to go about things.

This will only amp up with Dementia Joe in charge. You are being used, to your own detriment, as political cannon fodder for politicians. You will lose your jobs, your kids will fall way behind in school, you will have your freedoms eroded, in order to make some local politicians more powerful. AND YOU ARE ENABLING THEM. YOU DESERVE THIS!!!

Doesn't matter. You can raise taxes to pay for it.

How about this for a solution? Go frick yourself. Myself and many other functioning adults are tired of you pearl clutching faggots that need to be told what to do. You wanna wear a mask, wear a mask. If I decided not to, its my choice. Most of the time I only wear one if around someone that is wearing one out of courtesy. But my patience is thinning with idiots screaming the cases are going up because people aren't wearing masks. It's getting cold outside, these types of viruses tend to do that when it gets cold.

Virus counts aren't up because of weather. CDC stopped counting the Flu this year.

They are laying the groundwork pushing for a lockdown as a way to bail out states that are fricked because of their pension systems or other spending issues.

You watch. They tipped their hat before.

Will suck for 2021 no doubt. But Mardi Gras is one of the few indestructible industries in New Orleans. And as long as the St. Charles parade route exist, there will be riders and parades and people on St. Charles.

Regardless of what rules are in place at the time, tourist are not going to come for Mardi Gras in ‘21.

New Orleans deserves what it gets. They repeatedly elect idiots like Destroya then wonder why their government leaders make decisions that ruin them.

Which is why you could have a "local" Mardi Gras with outdoor parades, outdoor parties, etc. Doesn't sound that risky to me. People will be gathering anyway.
