I wonder why Pine Bluff, Ar is always number one?

I just can’t quite put my finger on it.

They’ve apparently never heard of Opelousas or Ville Platte.

I didn't think Houma was that dangerous for its size. Is this specific to violent crime only or all crime

Don’t know about the violent and property crime numbers but IIRC Houma is the center to a ton of sex offenses, mainly statutory rape.

Years ago someone o this site did a thread for people to see how many sex offenders were in their area. I'm pretty sure I blew them out of the water with Houma. As far as crime goes, the exodus under the previous sheriff and BLM environment did not help

But it’s not per capita on murder or any specific crime. It’s some cooked up BS on cost of Crime. WTF even is that?

I would bet the cause of crime is the same in the small towns in Louisiana as it is in the bigger cities

The most recent major crimes around these parts:

Somebody busted in on some entrepreneurs looking for a large stash of weed they supposedly had. One of them ended up full of holes, not sure which party they belonged to.

Two meth heads get in a squabble, that's a stabbin'. Stabber convicted of manslaughter, which is kind of miraculous because all the other witnesses were meth heads too, and made a shaky presentation on the witness stand.

Troubled teenager comes in drunk and/or drugged after curfew, gets into it with his dad, one thing leads to another, kid grabs a shotgun and shoots his dad three times. This one is still yet to be adjudicated.

i was in monroe for the last week and its perfectly fine to walk around downtown or go in any of the stores up and down louisville or by ULM

are there places you dont go in monroe; mainly south monroe? of course. but those places were bad in the 70s when i was a kid too.

Monroe is pretty segregated like Baton Rouge used to be. Monroe is perfectly safe if you stay out of the ghetto. The crime isn't spread out throughout the whole town.

I find it hard to believe Greenville, Ms isn’t on this list unless the population fell under 30k

PB is just depressing as hell. Everywhere you look in that town you can see the remnants of major industry and money. You look around today and wonder

Take a close look at the family names that have multiple offenders.

You know why they are Low IQ ? All victims of diving accidents.

Their parents dove into a shallow gene pool.
