Map Geeks: Let's play "Geo Guesser"

I chose the USA quiz and it put me on some highway somewhere. What am I supposed to do? What map? Is it cheating to move around?

You'll see something like this.
Yes, I have moved around to help me figure it out. Then you click (you need to zoom in first) on that map on the right to your thought to be location. Then click "make guess"

It dropped me in at a dirt road in the desert with no buildings or signs. GREAT GAME

So when I half-heartedly made a guess, it asks me to join. Nah.

You don't have to join, it would just make you wait 10 seconds for your answer. I didn't join.

That is pretty fun. I got nearly 1100 points on my first round guess. I guessed somewhere outside of Seattle but it was actually somewhere outside of San Francisco.

Gonna finish up here in a bit. thanks for finding me something new to kill time with.


ETA: 14,945 points on my USA map 5 round game with absolutely no cheating. 2 of the 5 were way off. Closest I got was 47 miles. I like it.

USA map....11,300 1st time. Much worse after that. I got one really close that first time.

First spot it dropped me on a road I've driven on between hazard, ky and Gatlinburg
