Most commonly occurs in Louisiana and South Carolina.
Apparently, many passed as white way back when.
Conversely, 19% of self-identified black people have white male European ancestry.

This makes sense by sheer numbers. Slaves were commonly shipped in from Africa and the Carribean through the port of New Orleans and the port of Charleston.
I'm sure Alabama isn't too far behind with the port of Mobile.

A better question is this: If you have some Negro blood in your past, can you even BE a racist?
At what % are you disqualified? Can a Negro be a racist towards other Negroes? Can a white be a racist towards other whites?
