I am fine with her being able to leave prison to go straight to asylum. If she was that crazy to begin with. She still likely has screws loose that can be manipulated by someone.

I read awhile back that Steve McQueen was supposed to be at Sharen Tate's house that fateful night but he ran into some girl he knew and decided to not go to Tate's house.

Should’ve been shot in the face with a shotgun immediately after conviction

I remember when all of this was going down. The POS should have been fried a long time ago.

Stabbing someone 14 times is either personal or straight up crazy… how she is even up for parole is a surprise to me.

If she did it today she would probably get probation.

yep, I think the original sentence was death before California repealed it, viscous, brutal, cold blooded crimes, maybe God will forgive her, we shouldn’t

I really think it was done to look like the Black Panthers did it so they could get their guy out of jail.

Partly that. Partly Charlie thought Doris Day's son , Terry Melcher would be there. Charlie believed Melcher had promised him a recording contract and reneged. Amazing how Charlie was able to get close to so many high profile Hollywood types. For a time he and his family had the run of Brian Wilson's estate.

I can’t imagine being young and dumb enough to be manipulated into brutally murdering people.

All of them should have. Not just Manson.

Robert Stroud (Birdman of Alcatraz) died in prison after being denied parole for allegedly telling the Parole Board that he wanted out because there were still people on the outside he wanted to kill.

After the (mostly fictionalized) movie about him came out, there was a massive letter-writing campaign petitioning to have him released. A former warden of his called it misguided, saying: “These people want Burt Lancaster paroled, not the real Robert Stroud.”

Those Manson girls sure got their 15 minutes. Another one tried to assassinate President Ford in 1975.

Sure could use these girls help right about now…..

After all these years, I’m not opposed to her getting released to enjoy her final years of life. I have no concern that she will commit another violent crime.

Hopefully she’ll buy a house next to you, then.

She was involved with milking someone? She should have been hung from a tree decades ago and left to rot
