So are you saying the media doesn't cover stories that have actually proven racism? Just because they debunk a few graffiti stories doesn't mean they haven't reported any valid stories.

No. Graffiti is certainly not the only form of racism. There will always be shitty people saying dumb shite to each other. There will always be people offended over dumb shite. It's life and how people operate.
My point about graffiti is that these stories blow up in the national media because people are so shocked that something blatantly racist happened and it gets clicks. It riles up the dumbasses.
People will always call each other slurs. But, nobody is denying black people the use of facilities. Nobody is forcing black people to do anything based on the color of their skin. There is no widespread racist efforts.
If the worst you have is a story assuming a woman said something based on race, then I'd say the general level of racist activity in America is fairly low.

I may not be articulating my point well, but I'm essentially trying to convey that if the worst racism we see in America is assumptions and name calling, we're doing good see as most of the world kills each other due to race.

Just because you don’t think those words are offensive / racist, that doesn’t mean that they aren’t.
