Exactly. And no one will take your assigned seat.
Only reason I could understand the need to get on early is to ensure that the bin above your seat is not full. I never travel with a carry on that big so it's never a worry for me.

Perhaps, but everyone still lands at the same time. But I'm the type of person that doesn't get upset when exiting a plane either. I'm flown enough to not care anymore. The aggravation for the little time saved is not worth the frustration or stress that accompanies it.

Even then, this shouldn't necessarily be an issue. If the bins are full by the time you board, the flight attendant will take your bag and gate check it.

I understand why people are pessimistic about this story, but to deny it couldn't happen baffles me.

No the difference is white people weren't getting lynched, raped, discriminated, beat, burned, bombed, enslaved, etc etc when they were called those names. There is no inhumane relationship to those six words you came up with when a black person referred to them as such.
