The area where the suspects were being pursued is large, however law enforcement said that the area was near Burbank Drive, Highland Road and Lee Drive.

This is a pretty stupid comment. Highland is not a shithole. There are areas a few blocks from a couple areas of highland that are crap but highland rd itself is pretty damn long. When a rd stretches across half the city, you are bound to get that.

I could be wrong but pretty sure this is just a jab at the people just hours ago trashing mid-city about an attempted robbery that just happened last night

I think people are getting confused because they're thinking about where Burbank meets Highland and turns into Siegen; it's the other part of Burbank closer to campus where it meets Lee (think Winn Dixie, McDonald's, Raising Cane's, CVS, Walgreens). The WAFB link says they arrested the driver at Place du Plantier apartments after the passenger got out and ran at Lee & Burbank.

Gotcha, the thread title is pretty misleading even if the info is technically accurate

Burbank Drive and Highland Road area.
Obviously we know where this is, but I always thought this wasn't a good name for the area since the streets are parallel.

The link I posted has changed its title and article now says
quote:

ouisiana State Police has arrested the driver involved in an incident Wednesday at Kenilworth Parkway and Highland Road.
Looks like maybe the original incident happened at Kenilworth & Highland.

ETA: Bad reporting by both WBRZ & WAFB which has caused a bit of confusion.
