Grew up there, and was in the middle of the debacle yesterday with the victim (tractor owner). Dude is hanging around Calvin. It really is funny that the law can't catch him, but doesn't surprise me.

He's just a local drug head that steals to support his habit. They've got one every couple of years there. Law enforcement can't find it's arse with both hands.
Hopefully the poor kid won't get kilt, but I think he is still out.

I remember a manhunt going down on Barksdale when I was a kid. It happened on the East Reservation, near Haughton. Apparently some sort of armed convict was loose, and MPs with M-16s were out and about.
I think the neighborhood kids may have been out of school at the time, though my memory is dim; I remember our parents keeping us inside that day.

we had a man hunt in ours all day easter day.. guy decided to take a shotgun and blow the brains out of his ex and her new lover and also shoot that guys daughter... finally found the guy yest evening had shot himself too

Joe Constance is his name. That link is from 2011 but Americas most wanted did a show here about it. Rumor is he previously took a drug rap and did time for guy whose father was a wealthy Mexican business owner, and now they are hiding him out down there.
