The best one is pretty full, not taking new residents without proven societal benefits and no fricking freaks.

Mandeville has less baws.
Old Mandeville by the lake is a great area

Having lived in Mandeville and Lafayette, and liking both places, I would take Mandeville every day of the week.

The NS was such a great place before Katrina, now....meh. Its overrun with new money dipshits and Chalmations. That being said, I have alot of family in Laffy and have to spend alot of time there. You couldn't pay me to live there and I don't know why Mandeville and Lafayette are even being compared. Mandeville doesn't get boarded up when oil takes a 10 cent dive. Also, Lafayette has some added cultcha to deal with. Also, Covington>Mandeville.
