I lived in China for 3 years, so yes I do. We fry the frick out of all "Chinese food" here, and it is total shite.
Honestly how rational is it that I can find legitimate Thai food in the US, but I can't find legitimate food out of the second largest immigrant group after the Mexicans? I literally have to travel to New York or San Francisco to find it.
Granted there is a single place in Plano I found, but actual Chinese food should be common as frick, especially since they encompass a quarter of the world.

I don't know where he lives. Here in Lafayette, Peking Garden has been a local institution for over 40 years, and not because it has shitty fried food that sucks.

I've found literally a single place in Plano during my time in Dallas that serves good Chinese food. It's simply called the "Dumpling Place", has no heating or air conditioning, and only gives you chopsticks and cocktail napkins. That's how you know you're at the right place.
They just care about giving you food and don't give a single frick about your comfort or presentation. That's a good Chinese restaurant, and they're very hard to find. The Chinese themselves don't do buffets.

News flash buddy. Mexican food here isn't like food in Mexico. Lived all over Mexico for two years they aren't eating enchiladas and steak burritos they largely live on beans rice and tortillas

That frustrates me as well, but it's easier to find real Mexican food than Chinese... at least where I live.
