Catholicism teaches that it's possible for Protestants to go to Heaven in their ignorance, just like a Muslim or Buddhist, but if they are presented with the "truth" of Catholicism and reject it, and die in that rejection, there is no salvation for us.

Not gonna lie if I was there I’d have tried to get to that guy and beat his arse and I’m not even catholic. Such disrespect for Christianity and an absolute beautiful work of architecture
It wouldn’t end well for the perp, just like it shouldn’t have in this instance. The one thing I do respect about Muslims even though I dislike them and think Islam is a scourge on humanity, is the fact they are devout and willing to fight and die for their beliefs and culture. It’s why they’re winning and taking over western nations.
Christains as a whole have become weak and milquetoast. Few are devout and even less are willing to defend our religion and its values. It’s getting time to go Old Testament on some people and start defending our religion and values or all that we cherish will be destroyed

Foo, I’m also not Catholic but you won’t ever hear me attempting to explain this away. It’s wrong and should not be tolerated at all. That goes for any faith by the way. I’m not taking a leak on a Hindu shrine just because I think it’s a false religion. You have to be respectful of the adherents. They take their religion as seriously as we do ours. The bottom line for me is that Christians need to back each other up and not further any division.
