Hilarious piece by Vice New Zealand.

TL;DW: Guy's filthy backyard becomes the highest rated joint in London on Trip Advisor with nothing but fake online reviews and the pretentious gnats that appreciate anything hyped.

Is trying to get a table at the #1 ranked restaurant in London really a bad thing? The concept and execution was really cool, but the only sucked are the people who wanted to book again.

People are stupid.

Proves what ive said for a long time. It's not usually about having a great product. It's whether you can manipulate people's simple thought processes

Yes, I got derailed previously, but the video was great and actually became more interesting to me the longer I watched it, which is rare.

That was a great troll job. I wonder if he could actually start a profitable and popular restaurant from this experience (and not for just one night)

I wonder that too, in that his "marketing" worked. It's wild, but the proof is in the jell-o instant pudding ganache.

Dear lord. at the 15:30 mark, you can see two guys seated on the roof of his shed with an extension ladder.

That can't be real. He's got to be faking the people eating part, fooling us, the viewers.
