A Monroe man is facing multiple charges after deputies were dispatched for a report of suspicious behavior in a McDonald's parking lot.
According to an arrest report for James C. Hickey Jr., age 46, Bayou Shores Drive, deputies were dispatched to the McDonald's on Desiard Friday night regarding a suspicious person going through customer's vehicles, taking his clothes off and running around the parking lot.
Per the report, deputies arrived to find the suspect wearing only his shorts and standing in bushes at the drive-in.
The arresting officer reported getting out of his patrol unit and commanding the suspect to go to the ground. When the suspect allegedly failed to comply, deputies took him to the ground.
According to the affidavit, a prolonged struggle followed and a stun gun was used on Hickey without results.
When one of Hickey's hands was restrained, he reportedly tried to take the stun gun from deputies as they attempted to secure the other hand.

That's a hell of a situation to be in as a cop. Old dirty meth-head running around nekkid and somebody has to "apprehend" him. Sure hope my partner owes me a favor.
