In both pictures the space between the illuminated tiger's face and the grass looks suspect. I say fake.

If you guys ever get to see an old Nat Geo special called "Eternal Enemies: Lions and Hyenas", watch it. There is some of the most incredible videography of Lions in "kill" mode you'll ever see. There awesomeness is so understated. Truly magnificent creatures.

I remember watching an old black and white video where a lion charges a group. It leaps and is literally almost on top of the guy when fires a shot last minute and kills it. Scary shite.

Granted it would take all of them wearing vest, but still the same. That looks like a younger male just getting to his booyaka age. Maybe 4 or 5 yo.
