Man parked with open porn mags faces meth charges

A West Monroe man is facing multiple drug charges after catching the attention of deputies for being parked in the road.
According to an arrest report for Robin Burke, age 30, Lee Anding Road, deputies saw a maroon Ford Fusion parked partially in the road on Pink Street.
When deputies made contact with the occupant, he was sitting in the driver seat "with numerous open pornographic magazines inside the vehicle and his penis exposed," per the report.
Deputies asked the suspect ot step out of the vehicle and conducted a search. A plastic bag containing suspected methamphetamine was found under Burke's hat.
In an interview, the suspect denied knowledge of the meth. He was then transported to Ouachita Correctional Center where staff located suspected marijuana on the suspect.
Burke was booked on charges of possession of a schedule II controlled dangerous substance, certain activities regarding contraband in penal institutions prohibited and possession of a schedule I controlled dangerous substance.
Total bail has not been set.
