I’m surprised the a-hole hasn’t gotten his arse beat before. All those pussies were scared to confront the angry black man.

To be fair the black man was carrying the great equalizer. A gun. They probably did the right thing by not escalating the situation. In the end all we got was a bunch of name calling, an angry black dude and a video of a decent arse. I have to agree with the black guy tho...don’t block the street like you own it. That’s bull shite.

I’m not going to confront any man with a pistol regardless of race unless my life depends on it.

Don’t think that’s the person you are looking for as another profile is getting tagged in posts about this and is definitely her

So that's a prerequisite to live somewhere now? You have to meet and be "accepted by" the black people?

I'm a pretty social guy, but if someone moves near me and just wants to live their life, frick if I care.

I don’t think you understand how hard it is to have a block party in the 7th ward with zero block people present

This simply tells you how these assholes socialize. It was cringeworthy too see him walk down to the house, pan the crowd, and everyone is white. Not one black person.

Then to block off the street illegally is just icing on the cake.

These “people” gentrifying his neighborhood will make his property value sky rocket if they can actually make it happen. But yeah he should be really upset about that. God forbid he makes money on his shite hole run down house in the next 10 years.

I saw some pictures from the event, there were some black people there and black musicians playing. Doesn’t excuse blocking the street though.

Not surprised this thread devolved into “who did you vote for” diatribe as that’s the OT’s m.o. these days. This was a guy looking for a reason to yell at people and get attention being given a reason to yell at people and get attention. Everyone looks dumb. Angry neighbor should’ve called the cops and/or a tow truck and watched the hilarity ensue. Butt-girl should’ve known better than to block an entire street with her car for a 20 person porch party with no permit. Also, lol at her for thinking inviting angry neighbor to the party would smooth things over - total delusion.

Well homeboy doesn't realize his people gentrified New Orleans by pushing my grandparents (Italians and Irish) out of New Orleans to the burbs. So he better check his history before making accusations and double standards because last I checked, it was my family and tons like it that gtfo.

You miss the point. Property value skyrocketing makes it unaffordable for the people that already lived in that neighborhood

Right or wrong, it’s easy to understand why it’s such a polarizing discussion.

Simple solutions to all of this....notify your neighbors of the block party.

Get a permit

The guy had every right to be upset, however he did overreact. He could have handled it much better

The only way I can see he means is property taxes go up. But they’re really only a small percentage of annual costs anyway. And only go up very marginally each year.
