...An apparently suicidal man jumped off the roof of a Yonkers apartment building on Monday night and landed on a person below — resulting in both of their deaths, police said.

The shocking scene unfolded at the Cromwell Towers on Locust Hill Avenue as a "distraught" 25-year-old leaped off the building and onto a 61-year-old man on the parking garage roof, cops said....

That's terrible. Only hope is that he was dead before he knew what hit him. What a shitty way to go.

I don't advocate for suicide at all, but if you are going to do it, do it in a way to not harm other people.

I’ll never forget being an hour and a half late for job interview when some selfish prick jumped from the 635 onto Highway 75 crushing a woman in her car and leading to a multi car pile up that took all day to clean up and killed another two people. Fortunately the interviewer was also coming from my general direction and was also late to work for it. That man is currently in hell for that, and I think the woman who is was in the car survived fortunately, but man that must have been traumatic. If you’re going to kill yourself, do it in the privacy of your own home, not look for attention that could kill others.

How is it better not knowing it was another person, and thinking it was a brick or something else instead? I don't understand.

If you're joking, nice work.

If you're not, I'm saying I hope that dude didn't see or feel a thing and it just happened, because being crushed to death, especially by another person, seems like a terrible way to go.

But your head on a swivel usually just means left and right. How often do you look up when walking next to tall buildings? I rarely do, if ever.
