If you can’t figure out that ignoring him sends the message then you will probably have many more problems that are actually complex. If he tries again, then he can be confronted. Amazed at how difficult life is for some of you.

Karma will get him. If he’s someone you see on a regular basis, then I imagine that’ll be difficult. Fighting is immature. Make him feel bad by texting him from your phone how extremely inappropriate his comments were and to never talk to y’all again. You handling something like this in a civil manner will go a lot further with your wife than making a scene and being remembered for it in front of others even if it is justified.
