If i was one of the beer companies, who's beer he consumed, i'd pay his fines, and use him for a commercial.

Marshfield Police Chief Rick Gramza said that his department has dealt with people who intentionally hide and get locked inside places with the purpose of committing a crime but that this case was particularly unique.

“We never had somebody accidentally locked in a place and not make any attempt to be rescued or get out because they’re satisfied with the circumstances,” he said.

Yup. I had to do an inventory observation at a wholesale grocer back in my CPA days. We had to walk in a refrigerated section of the warehouse. It was about 34 in there. Then we had to go even deeper to a freezer section. Below zero in there and people were only allowed in for under 10 minutes at a time. A safety warning went off after 8 minutes and a red flashing light was at the door to guide you out.

If it's a beer cooler, it will be anywhere from 34 to 40 degrees.

Beer freezes at 32 degrees, just like water.

While in HS, i worked at this place similar to Walgreens, and some one turned cooler down to 32, and all of the beer in the cooler froze(overnight). Luckily for us, it was the beer guy who accidentally did it, so once it thawed, he gave all the miller product to the guy who got me the job(21)for free. AB people took their shite and broke it and threw it in trash dumpster.

He gave me half of the beer, we had cases and cases of Icehouse, miller, lite, etc And about 2 cases of the old 40oz bottles. My father was in heaven with all the free beer i gave him.

How do you lock a beer cooler and why would anyone lock it to begin with?

Do these stores lock the main entrance to the store when the store closes? So why would you need to lock the cooler.

Plus every beer cooler I’ve ever been in have doors that don’t lock or they all have a handle on the inside to prevent this from happening.

I’m calling bullshite on this whole story.

And where was his cell phone?

Why couldn’t he break the door or the glass?

Most Kwik Trip's are open 24 hours so they lock the beer cooler at 9PM when you can't buy alcohol any more.

I understand that but wouldn’t there still be someone in the store that would hear him banging on the door if this was the case?

He didn’t bang on the door, that’s the point. He didn’t want to be found.
