Well... the thread title is shite and completely misleading. He broke into someone’s house, you can’t do that.

I feel bad for the guy, but he's an idiot for going in the house. When he got to the location where the Ipad was he should have gone home and spent the next few weeks getting his ducks in a row for the impending divorce. I'm sure there was about 100 other ways to prove what his wife was doing that did not involve a felony.

What happens now is that he has lost all his leverage and he will get railroaded by the courts (in the divorce, not this petty BS) harder than his wife was by the Boss.

Poor Lopez. He has about the right amount to bitche as Nasser does about listening to the girls tell him what a piece he is.

From looking at the the photo of Sean Donis the wife and her boss are probably lucky they were only videoed, and not decapitated. Pretty big guy with some tats, and probably has the digits of a bunch of his homeboys in his cell.

Guy got busted for trespass, breaking the state's surveillance laws, and that revenge porn thing.

All he needed to do was just grab the address and a divorce attorney.

That's not what happened. He was looking for his iPad, used an app that helps you locate it (I have apps like that for my phone and iPad too) and when he saw it was going somewhere other than where his wife said she'd be he went to see what the deal was.

He fricked up was when he went into the house. He should have called the cops and said he tracked somebody down that had stolen his property TBH. Instead he recorded himself breaking in like an idiot.

Also, it's very possible there is much more to this story. I have a hard time believing the prosecutor is going after him this hard purely for walking into the house where his wife was cheating on him.

Sure, but since when does someone get 15 years in prison for doing so without any violent actions?

I'd venture to guess there's a story out there with someone robbing a house and shooting a homeowner and getting less than 15 years.

That's the max penalty baw.

Since when does a prosecutor ever go for less than the max? It's very unlikely he will get the full 15 years.

Also, as I said before, there is likely much more to this for the prosecutor to bring it to court. The dude recorded them having sex and was showing it to family members so it's very possible he went further and posted it online.

In what universe is breaking into somebody's home, taping them having sex, and showing it to people ok?

Sucks for him that his wife was sick of his bum arse but that doesn't mean he gets to break the law.

I don’t think he should get 15 years, but there is a 95% chance he suspected his wife of cheating and stashed the iPad in her car so he could track her down.

Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see anything to suggest that they are seeking the maximum sentence, it's just that 15 years happens to be the maximum sentence.

Very true. All we have is his "Well I couldn't find my iPad and used the app to find it" story. It's very possible that was his cover for when he got popped by the law.

Also, form the link

quote:

The husband’s lawyer, Howard Greenberg, told jurors that the husband actually “deserves a medal,” not a prison sentence, for uncovering his wife’s unfaithfulness without physically harming his rival.

What a pathetically low arse bar this dudes clown lawyer set.

If you find out she is cheating you simply lawyer up and end it. Not fighting the new guy doesn't make you some sort of cool cat that should be lauded.

When one of those people is your spouse, it's absolutely ok. Hell I would go even further and say that physical assault would be justified.

People need to stop hiding behind man made "laws" and realize that some situations call for pretty drastic measures. Adultery is one of those situations

NB4 I'm mad because I got cheated on: no, but one of my parents did it so I know what it can do to a family. The cheater and consort shouldn't be able to hide behind the law for protection.

My wife and I have Find My Friends available for each other’s phones and it is often handy as hell.

I’m fine with unlawful entry to someone’s house but if he paid for that device, tracking it isn’t unlawful.

Well you are a complete fricking idiot that would rightfully be in jail.

No, you don't get to break into a person's home just b/c your spouse is stepping out on you. No you do not get to record people w/o their permission in said home you just broke into. No, you do not get to commit violence against them.

Doing what you say would mean saying goodbye to your kids for the rest of your life while you rot in jail for acting like complete fricktard.

Nope. Sorry but just b/c your peen's ego got smacked doesn't give you the right to go into somebody's house to attack them.

Again, once you confirm your spouse is cheating, go home, pack your shite, take the kids, get a lawyer. The end.

Dr RC I'm sorry but your attitude is pathetic and pretty much epitomizes what's made society so fricked up.

You advocate hiding behind lawyers and clowns with badges while the whores and whoremongers do the same.

If a man finds his wife in bed with another man, let him do what needs to be done and that's that. Saves a lot of time and taxpayer money.

Yea ok. Doing the rational thing is hiding behind lawyers and men with badges?

Get what big dick? If your spouse is cheating on you THEY DONT WANT TO BE WITH YOU ANYMORE.

Kicking the shite out of the dude boning your wife wont change that. All it will do is land you in jail, lose you custody of your kids, put you in mountains of debt, and frick the rest of your life up b/c you'll be rocking a felony. It will be easy to convince everyone that yes, it was justified to cheat on you b/c you are a hothead abusive shite.

Do what I say and... you'll probably get full custody of the kids! You won't be in jail! Your ex will get looked down on as a scumbag cheater! Your life won't be ruined!

and uh... earth to ForeverEllis, the taxpayers are wasting money on this BECAUSE HE BROKE INTO THE HOUSE instead of going home packing up the kids and getting a lawyer to start divorce proceedings.

Good god some of you are on the fricking spectrum. But hey, the world needs ditch diggers too I guess.
