I did that 6 years ago. Damn stray pit with no collar kept cutting through my backyard from one wood line to another. I wasn’t taking a chance with mine and my neighbors kids. Popped it the first time with a BB gun but it didn’t deter it from returning. Finally shot it in the head with a .22 rifle from about 15 yards.

That's exactly what they do. My neighbors said my lawnmower spooked their pits, my kids were playing "too loud" outside, and I came home all hours of the night(I worked nights at the time)so their pits didn't sleep well. I wish I were making this up. The odd thing though, they had four other non pits that never did anything to anyone.

I've read through all of these comments and how is it that the lot of you are so incredibly ignorant? Pitbulls are not dangerous dogs by nature. They are raised to be that way. Raise them right and they're the most AMAZING FAMILY PETS you could ever imagine.
