No it wasn't, but whats so hard about being the better person? It amazes me that the people that can just go on with their lives are able to LIVE their lives. Don't talk back to cops, don't frick with trashy arse people, just go about your life and skrew them, but no, that's too simple. Im not saying he deserved what happened to him, but my parents taught me not to put myself in situations like that, so don't be a skrew up, and you'll be ok.

It's funny you say that about the 15-year-old kid, but certainly not about the 62 year-old neighborhood menace wife and daughter beater. God for bid anyone stand up for himself and pop off at the mouth, especially a teenager. Some people, as usual, will go to great lengths to justify, or at least minimize, this murderers actions.

Is crossing the street to continue the argument standing up for yourself? It seems like more than that.

Im not saying what the old man did was right. Or even standing up for him, but there are some people that are just crazy. If you just back down, and dont be some hard-arse, this type of shite wouldn't happen.

So you don't think it's probable that the man who has a history of beating up his wife and pregnant daughter and verbally menacing kids in the neighborhood was continuing to jaw and verbally harass the kid after he walked past his porch and continued walking? And yes, I am sure the kid was mouthy right back to him. That does not excuse the murder nor does it minimize it one iota. The murderer is 100% to blame for killing the kid.

im not, and have never, said the man was not to blame for the murder. However, if the kid didnt want to start shite, and stayed to himself, kept his mouth shut, and wasnt mouthty with some white trash, hed still be alive.

And now the man is claiming the kid pulled a gun on him even though he never mentioned it to police in his initial complaint, nor was a gun found. LOL

I'm going by what facts have been presented.
Plus if a man is known for being violent to his loved ones, you see what he does to people he doesn't like. So don't follow to continue escalating.

No, just saying if he is well known for it. Sometimes people know, sometimes that don't. But it keeps getting repeated here that he has a violent past. Word can get around on that.

The kid wanted to look tough in front of his friends and paid for it with his life. He shouldn't have went across the street. The man will be charged and locked up for what he did though. Bad situation all around.

On a certain matter I'm going on facts, but personally what I'm saying is if it's known..that a person is a little off and violent, if they have a reputation..even if you're in the right, its not wise to follow them around.
