re: Man charged with recording sexual acts of Madison Brooks

Pride keeps saying that there was no DNA evidence inside of Brooks. The only thing that has been reported as no DNA inside and little in her pelvic area was from the autopsy.
She was kept alive on life support until her father arrived and then her organs were harvested. There have been no reports of what DNA evidence if any was found upon initial evaluation when she arrived at the hospital.
I'm no doctor or lawyer. But it is logical to think that while being on life support, the DNA could have diminished or disappeared.

Key word "inside". They're bending the truth a bit.

she was kept alive for the organs.

I also think unfortunately it's also only going to add to the idiotic narrative of "this is only a story because it involves a pretty white girl and black guys"
Do you honestly think anyone would care about this case if the victim wasn't a sorority girl at LSU?

I have no clue what voyeurism laws entail, but looking at this from a LEGAL point of view, the girl got in the car and was heard telling them to have sex with her (believe it or not, that’s what’s being reported) and they recorded it and didn’t show anyone. If all of that is true, this is not a good legal card to get the boy to flip on his friends.

Court records obtained by Unfiltered with Kiran show Carver allegedly videoed certain areas of Brooks’ body and shared that video without her consent.
Records say from Jan. 15, 2023 through Jan. 16, 2023, Carver allegedly used an image recording device to “view, photography or video tape” Brooks’ private areas without her permission.
Plus, records show the videoing was allegedly used for “lewd or lascivious purpose” and/or shared with other individuals without Brooks’ consent.

Who is saying they heard this? The defendants?

People get interested in cases all of the time that don't involve LSU sorority girls

BATON ROUGE — Laboratory reports and autopsy results obtained by the WBRZ Investigative Unit on Wednesday show that DNA from none of the four men arrested after the death of Madison Brooks was found inside the LSU student, and her blood alcohol content was 12 percent lower than what had initially been reported.
Watch live newscasts here.
Genetic material from one of the accused men, Kaivon Washington, was found in Brooks' genital area, but there was no sign of vaginal trauma. The autopsy did not say whether the DNA was found in semen, bodily fluids or epithelial cells.
An abrasion and bruising on Brooks' back side prompted a forensic pathologist conducting the autopsy to note it was "highly suspicious for a sexual assault," but the separate lab report said there was insufficient male DNA present and no indication of when an assault might have occurred

Haven’t read whole thread but let me get this straight: Carver said “she was drunk, drunk” and is on video saying “they finna rape her.” And then videos the sexual act. And then shares video/pics
How again is he not in deep shite?

That doesn’t mean that lab result couldn’t have been done at the time of autopsy (The lab could have been done at the time of the autopsy and generated it’s own report). If so, that length of time makes it pretty useless
Bottom line is the date the specimen was actually taken is key information

I don't think this is 100% clear, which is going to be the arguments from the defense (esp if DNA is an issue)

Defense arguing what? Carver said they had sex and lawyers already said it was consensual sex

He didn't participate so he can't say beyond a reasonable doubt penetration occurred.

I do not think that will be admissible in court. That will be interesting to see if the prosecution tries to use it, though.

What is wrong with you. If I didn’t know better it sounds like you have been in the same position as the rapists… you sure making it sound that way with all the defending you are doing.

PJ...what?
I'm explaining the prosecution is going to have some big holes in their case if there is in fact no DNA.
The primary witness wasn't a direct participant, and he certainly won't be able to explain how no DNA was left in/on the victim. He is being set up to be destroyed on cross examination by the co-Defendants' attorneys. If they tear him up enough and repeat an "OJ" defense ("No DNA, can't put em away!") well enough, reasonable doubt could be found by the jury.

So no dna on the victim?? So you saying she had zero sex that night???
Posted on 1/12/24 at 5:13 pm to SlowFlowPro
If the specimen for the DNA wasn’t taken until her autopsy, I don’t see that as being a problem like you do. That was days after the sex
