Explain what a 62 year old man is going to do on their phone that tells them they're not in the best area immediately

The best thing to do is look around. These places all look alike.

But your statement referred to Hammond as a “piece of shite city that should be 100% avoided”., when you were actually talking about NOLA. Maybe get your facts straight or try better reading comprehension.

There is no fricking way I’d even pull in to the parking lot there much less spend the night. People need to be more aware of the situations they put themselves in.

Older couple traveling out of state. Forgive them if they aren’t up to date on the ins and outs of Hammond.

Victim blaming. How the hell is someone from out of town going to tell that is a "bad" part of town.

Exactly. Half the population would consider that the correct part of town.

You made a blanket statement that didn’t apply to the facts of this specific incident, but twist it how you see fit

Another win for Progressive voters. This hero will be out of prison before he’s 30 killing again.

Keep voting Democrat!

Yep, probably not travel savvy, booked online through a third party and found something cheap, not understanding the dysfunction of the area he was going.

The guidelines that used to apply to third world shitholes now apply to much of the Southeast USA and parts of our major cities.

Well, I bet you'd lose that bet. Most of them will not work for "the man" at any wage. They've been brainwashed from birth.

Nothing will stop this until the perpetrators feel severe, painful, brutal repercussions. Question is when will those start?
This will only get worse until the people being victimized are fed and fight back and demand justice and accountability instead of victimizing the criminal ilk. This is LBJ's legacy 50 years later, I shudder to think what Biden's legacy will be in 50 years.

As I recall, didn't some travel sites get in trouble for providing such information.

Allegations of racism, as I recall.
