Because they are willing to put up with the bullshite that goes with serving a poor community.
I had family that used to run a ghetto convenience store. By the end they only kept it around to keep some of their kids employed and the last straw was one of them being robbed with a gun to his head. They sold out and I believe that the buyers and all the other stores were run by Vietnamese at that point.

Once the DA sees the video he will not bring charges against the victim. I just hope the victim's business does not suffer from this. It would actually be cool to see him get a Chik-fil-a type bump in sales.
