Wasn't coerced my arse.

A federal appeals court has overturned a ruling that could have freed a Wisconsin inmate featured in the "Making a Murderer" series from prison. The 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Friday that police properly obtained Brendan Dassey's confession and he should remain behind bars. The judges were sharply divided, voting 4 to 3 that Dassey's confession wasn't coerced.

If we’re being completely honest with ourselves, society is probably better off with that kid in jail.

These poor people. Give them a fair chance at least.

Imagine if he found some bitch as dumb as he is and had a kid. That does not need to happen.

Of course he wasnt coerced. That would make our justice system look like a racket and fundamentally in favor of whoever is accusing.
They cant have that sort of messaging in todays political climate. It's in the interest of the people for their court system to appear just. Correcting a mistake would imply they are sometimes wrong.

I was hoping he could make it to wrestlemania.

So the documentary was true and free of bias? Everyone who saw it knows the complete truth?

Snow isn't the only thing melting around here.

I watched the kid describe a murder in which they would have had to clear a dirty and cluttered garage of an shred of evidence.
They didn’t find a drop of blood and if I recall they even pulled up concrete looking for it.
I don’t think it’s asking too much to have someone’s “confession” match up with forensics just a little bit.
ETA: i think it’s possible or even likely his uncle did it...but unlikely that it happened the way the kid or even the police say it did

If we want to have a separate conversation regarding sterilization and imprisonment of really stupid people that is fine. But, this dude shouldn’t be in prison and the government shouldn’t act the way they did here to solve a crime.

This is what I've always thought as well. Steven Avery probably committed the crime, but no way it occurred the way they've said. The two are dumb as rocks, there is no way they could clean the garage of every drop of blood.

Wonder if Making a Murderer is as unbiased as another documentary on Netflix, Vaccine Nation.... smh
Seriously documentaries can be as fictional as the director pleases.

What got me besides all the seemingly obvious issues with the case was that cop that found the car and called dispatch but it had not been reported as missing yet or something like that. He knew it was there ahead of time.
And when he was asked about it in court it said nothing.
