Now we get to rebuild California, yay!

They are such a positive to this great nation I know we all can’t wait to chip in.

Homeless people are constantly lighting fires for warmth or just for fun

Same sentiment the country had toward New Orleans after Katrina.

Whew, I was worried Los Angeles itself might not be in the best hands to respond...

Through most of human history, fires were the greatest fear that cities had.

Are you saying New Orleans was rebuilt with no federal aid?

Even the industry realizes how corrupt and immoral it is.

They just flaunt it.

Florida has more forest area and hardly has any wildfires. It’s because they maintain their forests and have controlled burns annually.

But that’s a relatively new thing.

Pre-DeSantis there were still major issues with fires in FL. 30A and other areas had major fires during the Covid era but the governor got regulations changed to force planned burns and removal of debris and there hasn’t been an issue since.

No, they definitely got aid.

The people in the state of Louisiana are hard. The people in the state of California are soft is all I meant. Louisiana people will rebuild no matter what. I would argue y’all are the most resilient folks in the country.

My company has a production facility in Pasadena. Here’s a picture from one of the security cameras.

When I first brought it up, you could barely make out the fire. But as you can see on the top left of the screen, it’s gotten bigger.

Isn’t that the same area of Malibu that had burned back in 2018 or so?

Watching the security cam footage from the major fires is about the most terrifying natural disaster I’ve ever seen.

They move so fast, consume everything in their path and seeing the fire tornado spin ups looks post apocalyptic.

Really sorry for what Southern California is dealing with today.

Now it looks like the fire is out, I’m assuming the firefighters put it out.

If a person there is at risk, they can walk down into the concrete ravine where the L.A. River used to be. Nothing flammable and the smoke will pass overhead.

Is this where the badass scene for T2 was filmed?
