I'm sure if your man crush DeSanctimonious was Governor on CA, this fire wouldn't have happened

Yeah, there’s plenty of water.
There is water. What do you think they're using to fight the ongoing flames? The sylmar and West hills fires are fully contained I believe.

California's fire issues are directly related to the regulatory environment, whther you want to believe it or not.
Who said I didn't want to believe it? And Louisiana's coastal erosion issues are directly related to it's regulatory environment. Whether you want to believe that or not.
So with all that in mind, a fair number of conservative OT drool cuppers are taking delight in California's dysfunctional regulatory systems and the suffering it's causing. When a hurricane hits, should liberals take the same delight in Louisiana's regulatory systems and the suffering those cause? What would you think of them if they did?

We all should. Its dehumanizing.
Their regulatory state is designed to create shitty jobs, not protect people or environment.

You've had two opportunities to quote my entire post. You're a weakling for not doing.

Yeah, I’m definitely going with arson at this point. What are the chances of it starting on a trail rather than a downed power line or something near the interstate? If it’s started on a trail on a clear day, the most likely culprit is arson.
There are power lines on a ridge just to the NW of the start location/Skull Rock. That is important because the likely start location is just down wind and downhill from those power lines. You can pretty much rule out the homeless (they wouldn't be in the area). The leaders are probably power line start, intentional arson, dumb people/kids.
The neighborhood where the first report of the fire came from is less than a quarter mile from that possible start location (it is also possible it started closer to the trailhead, which would put it even closer to the neighborhood). That's why homes were threatened even before fire response arrived on the scene.
There was a small fire in that same area back on New Year's Eve. A rekindling of that fire could be on the table, too. I haven't looked for a cause on that one, but being that it was on NYE......my money would be on fireworks.
ETA: And a reminder: this is the Palisades Fire, the least deadly of the two main fires. I haven't looked into the development and progression of the Eaton fire yet.

You try so hard to pretend youre in the middle on these issues.
