That's for them. They won't go there for some reason, but might as well put it out there.

shite's going to be ashes and embers soon enough. Not sure I'd be willing to shoot someone over ashes. I'm guessing this isn't going to be like a flood evacuation where you come back home next day and realize it wasn't that bad and most of your stuff is ok.

Suspected arson in this new fire.. it’s grown from 50 to over 1,000 in just a couple hours. If someone did start this they should be jailed for life.

9 minutes in on that video and it shows a house burned down to the slab with a pristine Vette sitting in the front yard. Apparently the dude pulled it out of the garage for safekeeping.

My background is in meteorology and engineering, and I have worked with the damn forest service helping to plan a prescribed burn.
But sure, you know more about this than I do.
Its political for you hacks.
Weather forecasting and some type of engineering.
Serious question even with helping with a prescribed burn (and likely depending on what engineering field which was unstated) how do those let you so absolutely say more prescribed burning in LA country wouldn’t have helped better limit these current LA fires at all? Especially to the point of stating those “hacks” saying otherwise are doing so only for political reasons. No one is really saying that the wind would have not been a problem spreading this or that prescribed burns would have made this a complete non-issue.
The OT isn’t the only place where this particular criticism is taking place now or took place before these fires.
The lack of prescribed burns is just one of several mistakes many are saying the local LA and California leaders made leading up to these fires. Are those others political and made by hacks as well?

The first arson arrest I've seen so far:

The main reason prescribed burns wouldn't have helped in this case is that both of the main fires started in neighborhoods. These aren't like past Cali fires that have gotten attention where they started in wooded areas and moved into neighborhoods. No controlled burns would have been conducted in these more residential areas. At most county and neighborhood policy regarding private property clearing would have come into play.

Wouldn't that be a perk in Los Angeles?

Saw a Tik Toc video of some youths with black ski masks throwing matches and gas on scrub brush out there. Said they are just going from place to place trying to get fires going around LA.

Me too. This has been an ongoing issue with wildfires for several years now, and isn't the first time they've caused a problem. Yet, when airspace is closed the conspiracy idiots start grabbing their pitchforks. Every Tom and hairy dick with a drone thinks they have a right to fly the damn things whenever and wherever they want.
