Don't those size fires create their own winds? So much heat and huge updrafts that air comes rushing in to replace it in the form of wind.

Big forest fires like I posted a couple pages ago will do that. What you're seeing in Altadena will not.

Well your posts certainly aren’t helping change that perception

my man, please don't start arguments in the thread - it was bad enough with the other guy.

Take a look at who started the "argument" Ace.

I made an innocuous comment about Woods moving to MT and Legindinhisownmind made sure to be offended. Like he is about every comment even mildly critical of CA.

You think this comment below represents someone getting offended??

The pups and the princess LOVE hotel rooms. So, they are settling in just fine.

Folks, if you don’t have anything constructive to say or show concerning this event, please refrain from posting.

Excellent news

The fire looked awful close to Santa Anita this morning, but the track says they are safe and not evacuating horses yet.

In addition to the meals we are preparing, we are taking donations of pet food, personal hygiene items, baby formula, cases of water, and clothing at the restaurant at 16600 Pacific Coast Highway, 92649. We will be driving the first batch up via cargo van to LA around 5 pm today, so if you are in OC and want to drop by, that's the spot.
