Troy Alabama is under the gun for right now. It’s tightening up.

I’m near Cartersville. A little too close for comfort.

Parents live in Jackson's gap but just south of where it looks like tornado is going through. Mom is here with us in perido Key visiting this weekend, dad is under their house. Too close for comfort.

Troy might’ve just received a direct hit.
Not good.

Not good.

Sounds like it dropped down around Lakewinds golf course. Damage around Camp ASCCA and Horshoe Bend. Luckily not many folks live up that way. Looked nasty on radar for about 10-15 minutes.

Scary looking debris signature on that one after it came through Troy. Local weather guys just let out an audible gasp when it came up on radar.

Another one with a debris ball on Reflectivity.
148.8 VRot on that Troy tornado.

My brother lives about 10 miles south of there. I’m glad it stayed north

Terrible. I’d be putting a for sale sign up. Just horrible luck.

I know of neighborhoods in AL where the same places have taken hits over a couple decades, but twice within a year is insane.

I have no clue how this happened but the damn storm blew over a giant cement potted 8 foot tree that has to weight 300-400 lbs completely off the damn porch. Smashed into bunch of pieces. Didn’t touch its twin 8 feet away.
Meanwhile the cushions are still the chairs 40 feet away. Can’t believe I didn’t hear it fall. I really thought it completely missed Mobile.
We were really very lucky. Prayers to all those affected by this bizarre storm.

I’m in Dallas/Acworth Georgia. We live on a slab and have neighbors across the street with a basement. We bummed their basement for about half an hour a little bit ago.
The local weather guy pretty much stated that they were tracking a potential tornado and when he described it my hood was pretty much described. Luckily though in my immediate area it seemed to be uneventful
