Still can’t see anything on the ALDOT cam in Gordo. Clearly on the ground and still doing damage based on radar.

So it came off the lake? Did itt get Madisonville proper?

Sounds like it was a water spout that came on land for a bit. Not sure about damage

Zooming in on Google Maps shows the Thomas Drive Mobile Home Park just SW of Gordo.

I hope those people are taking shelter the best they can or got out of there to somehwere safer.

Ok. Thanks. I've been watching this like a hawk since 11am and the time there is dangerous shite a few miles from me, the app gives me no warning.

It’s just a lease, but there is a guy who lives on a farm with his wife, his caretaker stays there as well. Apparently they were all in the main part of the house when this went down. They said the roof was being pulled off the house they were in but thankfully never fully came off. But there’s MAJOR damage to the main structure.

I can’t imagine what it must have been like while they were there

Spann just showed footage of the Cullman County tornado. Definitely down when the video was taken.

I'm just an amateur so maybe I'm seeing it wrong, but it looks like there's serious rotation OUTSIDE the current warning polygon? Right over Cuba, MS

Good news is that the storm that produced the Gordo tornado has weakened. Doesn’t look like it’s producing a tornado now.

For some of y'all who know what you are talking about, what is the forecast for SE AL later tonight? I have been watching Spann this afternoon and could have sworn I heard him say everything will be out of AL by midnight. I was under the impression that it was supposed to get bad down here, but not until well after midnight. I'm hoping he knows something that he just hasn't had time to talk about with everything popping off further North.

Interestingly yesterdays system and the moderate areas of todays system were far worse than the high risk area today
