What is the earliest timeframe today that we can expect potential wind gusts and isolated severe storm cells to get to the Northshore?
Attempting to get all my driving teenagers home before then.

Be a force of nature. Download the Weather Channel app and click on the Hourly section. If your location settings are on, there’s your answer. Customized to your specific location.

It’s free. You are welcome.

With the way things are feeling this morning when I walked outside, I'm betting we will have 2-4 ef5s across the mid-south today. 5-7 EF4s in addition. The air is just filled with piss and vinegar.

Haven’t had an EF5 since, what, 2013? Surely hope not.

I hope you are completely wrong. Middle Tennessee is not a fun place to be during spring tornado season.

I'm in Bham but we're gonna pack up the family and head west to Hueytown to stay with family since they have a much better house situation including a big reinforced basement (which we don't). Figured we'd head there around 9 or 9:30, does that sound about right? I know the big round 2 is supposed to "start" around 11ish so just want to be sure we aren't driving in any more dangerous conditions as necessary

I'm not wanting it to happen obviously. I live in the mid-south. Its always better to brace for the worst and hope for the best. Only God knows what that weather will hold for the future.

This isn’t what I’m asking but thanks for the tip. I’m not asking for rain percentages. I’m asking about severe weather potential. I understand I can’t get a specific minute time. But no one thinks there is potential of a tornado on the Northshore right now. But possibly before tomorrow? Sure.
When can we expect that? Maybe after 9:00? 11:00? 1:00?

Im not trying to be an a-hole. I’m just asking when the smart guys and gals here think we’ll get some supercell potential so that I can get my cranky kids home before then.

Sheep, i am not sure. You could look at weather.gov and then click on you area. There should be a graphic there. Personally i think it would be smart to get them rolling home, the earlier the better
