I just saw that they closed the Boston St. Bridge in Covington.

Old landing floods pretty easily. I've launched a boat at the launch where the road drops down on the south side

Anyone know if they think Natchez trace is safe?

If history is any indication, Old Landing is likely under a lot of water. I remember that area flooding during tropical storms and hurricanes. This is so much worse

As of 20 minutes ago, my dad said it is 3 feet away from the highest amount of water we've ever had under the house (Isaac). This is near 4th st. Launch/old landing

I live in the back of River Oaks, i'm not on the bayou but the houses across the street are. I went to my neighbors house about 530 this evening and it was about 6 feet lower in his backyard than Issac. Going to check again before I go to bed. The difference was Issac had a huge push of lake water pushed back up in here. My neighbor has been here 14 years and was not too concerned.

Oh my...this isn't good. I remember Issac was the highest we have ever seen it by my parents house (26.8ft crest according to that link). Another 5 feet could be bad news bears

That gauge is up river not by mouth not sure how that effects things

My parents are in Beau Chene. Not too far away from the gauge but far enough to hope is isn't affected as much closer to the mouth
