That’s respectable on a cold January morning.

Haven’t went out and measured but I bet we got over at least 10 inches and it’s still snowing here southwest of Little Rock.

That's what I told my wife. She did not agree.

He's off a bit, but it's nowhere near the 5" TWC was screaming about.

His projection of “light dusting to .25” is much further off than TWC’s forecast of 3-5”.

A light dusting to .25” would be mostly a giant nothing burger. It’s a bit of a shitshow instead.

I wouldn't exactly call it a shitshow. It's manageable but it really is slick as owl shite out there. Hwy 27 is covered pretty well but improving bit by bit. I decided to pack up the laptop and head back to the house (mainly so I could get out and play around in it a bit).

GADOT had one truck heading south on 27 plowing off the slow lane now that it has changed from snow to freezing rain. Not sure how that's gonna work out with the chance of it turning into a glaze of ice in direct contact with the asphalt, but we'll see.

Got some photos of the office, as well as what Hwy 27 looks like currently. Bremen looks quite nice with a light layer of snow on it. The owner of our company loves Montana so much that he put a new facade on our office to give it that kind of vibe. It looks a lot more Montana-esque with a little snow around it.

And... The road on the return trip home is still a bit slushy, but as long as you don't gun it, it ain't too bad

It was snowing good here (about 40 min north of Bham) when I got up at 7:00. This was the view from my kitchen window…

Looks like we got about 2-3 inches. It’s changed over to a light rain/sleet mix now. From what they’re saying on the news, I don’t see much of this melting off, and what does is going to refreeze tonight. Looks like a perfect day to work on a model.

I’m stuck in Baltimore dealing with flight cancellations getting back to Atlanta. Forgive the dramatic take.

I’ll give a shitshow status update if I ever make it back.

It's been going strong since 630, just about enough on the lawn where only the wild onions are showing through (shut it H&G board, I'm at peace with it), sled hill should be ready by lunchtime.

Got a sheriff's alert that all roads in my NWGA county are impassable. Likely a bit of an exaggeration but it's definitely shaping up to be an icy shite show until Sunday.
