We're in the pink area. Gonna start as snow, 1-3" mixed with some sleet and maybe a glaze of ice on top.

They are now calling for 9-10 inches here in Little Rock.

Guess I’ll have to stop by the liquor store tomorrow on the way home from work.

Oh, good reminder. We're getting 4-7, but I can't be too prepared.

I grew up in Minnesota, and the most I remember falling in a few days was 37”. The funny thing was, it started on Halloween. Trick or treating in a blizzard was interesting to say the least. Side note: coldest I experienced with wind chill was -63. That was one of the few times I remember school getting canceled because of weather.

Grew up in Minnesota as well. I remember an extreme wind chill one winter - was it sometime in the early 90s?

I can’t tell you how many times people’s hair would freeze and they’d snap off a piece while waiting for the bus

Atlanta hasn't had 3" of snow since 2011. Didn't even get that much during Snowmageddon in '14.

NWS is leaning to the conservative side, but the snow totals are trending up on models.

For Dallas??? Holy crap. Y’all aren’t equipped for that. But I’d rather snow than ice.

Being from Michigan I know how to navigate in the snow. Problem is that hardly anyone in Baton Rouge area have a clue. So I would be staying home.

Exactly.

I know how to thankfully, but it's the other idiots that think they don't and end up in a ditch or worse.

Not that football matters, but there is supposed to be a game on Friday.
