Apparent hydraulic failure of the landing gear due to a bird strike.

Not sure if this is right, but tail number is HL8088 delivered september 2009, pretty young

Surprised with that wreckage photo that the initial fatality number was so low.

Damn that’s a hell of a lot of speed for that touchdown. That’s a 10k foot runway and they clearly had enough speed to overrun it.

Either a late touch down or just too high of a speed without anything to slow them down enough.

Can’t tell if speed brakes were deployed but it looks like the engines were in reverse.

Looked like the end of the airport. Maybe a concrete wall with a fence.
