It's really sad. She was as big or bigger than Taylor Swift in her day. So many things she could be doing. Broadway, a tour of small clubs, she could write her memoirs, she could try her hand at directing/producing. She'd be a beloved icon. People would look at pictures and say, "she looks really good for her age." Instead she's still trying to be edgy, and edgy past middle age is just weird and pathetic.

Don’t understand why she is still relevant to some people.

that's because she has always been...

Madonna fans worried after seeing her pre tour photo's
Man, she had such a strong and thick Amazon bush I would've bet serious money she wouldn't have had a receding hairline.

In 2019 my wife and I went to the Billboard music awards while we were out in Vegas and Madonna performed. She looked like granny Clampett out there performing. It was hilarious.

It's always fascinating to watch celebrities try to hang on. Remember in the 2000's, she was starting to wane and then did that weird, forced make out thing with Britney and Christina? It may have got her some edgy cred but that too would be fleeting. Plus it's Madonna. In 2000, you can't really tell her 'no'.
However you could tell her reign was absolutely over when she wanted to collaborate with Lady Gaga a few years ago, but then Gaga pretty much told her to frick off. That must have been a real blow. The "you can't tell Madonna 'no" ship sailed pretty brutally and I guess nobody ever told her.
So she retaliates by turning into some kind of freakish monster.

Kathy Griffin as 2 of the biggest examples.
They'd make great bookends; that's about it.
Both of them have aged about as well as full ashtrays.

Madonna's "talent" was calculated shock and rabid self-promotion.
Even in her heyday, she was only "meh" in the looks department and there were imminently better singers and dancers around her.
Without teenaged girls slurping at the alter of MTV and gay men, she had no audience.
