If I remember the timeline correctly, she would have been at home for winter break up to the 24 hours before her death. Not that that means anything necessarily, but I know my college son's life is severely subdued over break.

They didn’t kill her. But, and i’m no lawyer, they did have sex (if you can even call dry anal penetration sex) with an obviously impaired girl (some kind of lesser degree rape charge) and endangered her life by driving her to a dangerous place and letting her out to meet her death. They are guilty of those things by their own admission.
