Made the mistake of ordering something from Best Buy.

I needed a 28" TV for my daughter as she is living in her sorority house and that size fit where she wanted to put it. The only place that had that size not on backorder was Best Buy. It defaulted the shipping address to my billing address after I ordered and the system would not allow me to cancel or modify as the buttons for those options do not work. Five calls later the people at Best Buy cannot cancel or modify the order even though it was not even scheduled to ship yet. Are they using a 1992 system? There is a reason Amazon is eating them alive and Bezos is worth more than God.

Not sure I remember a company that has gone in such an opposite direction with respect to customer experience and service as Best Buy has over the last 20 years.

I've had great experience with Best Buy. Their prices even aren't too bad lately, and my company gets a discount on top of that.
I usually get things shipped to my local store and pick it up there.

I've had great experiences with them as well, and they'll price match. Their policy says they don't match sales prices, but I've had them do it for me before.

With Amazon at least you can immediately correct or cancel. The BestBuy option to do so is onscreen but non-functioning. And it did not default back until after I confirmed the order. I check because we send stuff to kids in school on opposite sides of the country and I am far from perfect.

Not many. They are usually expensive because they are mostly for RV usage with DC power or in hospitals. She thought a 24 was too small and 28 fit perfectly on her bookshelf.
