Yeah I changed it because of that shite. There's a better Chicago parade on another channel that's an actual parade and not celeb arse kissing and show business.

I was just getting ready to post the question, "Was the Macy's parade better when I was younger or am I just getting old?".

I miss actually watching the HS bands that they invite in for the parade too.

That KFC baw represented the south well.

It's been like this for decades. I'm guessing people have a revisionist history of it. When they are young they remember all the "balloons" because that's how your parent's draw you in to watch it. Then you get older and don't watch for years. Then you have kids again and turn it on so they can see "the balloons". They are there amongst the bands and performer's, like they have been, for many years now.

People will bitch about anything these days.
