Why is Uber putting out a commerical about "moving forward"? Did something happen?

Lyft always seems to be cheaper and most drivers serve both in cities I’ve tried it.

I go with whatever is cheaper, which is more often Lyft, especially in busy periods. From talking to drivers, they much prefer driving for Lyft, I think they pay better and what not.
