Yeah. It sucks. Had to retire from B.A.C.A. and everything. But my dr says it’s just too big of a risk so it is what it is. I think I may pick up playing golf again. And of course I still have my nerdy models and history books.

It was a combo of two factors.
1. My heart goes through spells where it will race really fast then other times slows down really slow, like 40 BPM. When it slows down I’m susceptible to passing out quickly. That would be bad if I were on a bike wheel this happens.
2. I take an extremely high dose of blood thinner. At my last visit my dr said anything more than s minor cut would be “catastrophic”.
Put those two factors together and that’s why my dr advised I give up riding. And while I love riding, I love living more.
